Why does the vial look empty?

That’s normal. The peptide is supplied lyophilised (freeze-dried) — often a thin film or a few milligrams at the base of the vial, easy to mistake for empty. It’s all there; reconstitute with bacteriostatic water before use.

This blend pairs two of the most-studied Russian-developed research peptides: Selank, a tuftsin analogue studied for anxiolytic-like activity, and Semax, an ACTH(4-10) analogue studied for nootropic and neuroprotective activity. The combination is of interest where calm and focus pathways are examined together.

Both peptides are reported to act on BDNF-linked neurotrophic signalling, with Selank additionally studied for GABAergic and enkephalin pathways and Semax for the melanocortin and dopaminergic systems.
