Why does the vial look empty?

That’s normal. The peptide is supplied lyophilised (freeze-dried) — often a thin film or a few milligrams at the base of the vial, easy to mistake for empty. It’s all there; reconstitute with bacteriostatic water before use.

Glutathione (GSH) is a tripeptide of glutamate, cysteine and glycine, and the most abundant intracellular antioxidant in human cells. It cycles between reduced (GSH) and oxidised (GSSG) states to buffer oxidative stress.

Research focuses on its role as a cofactor for glutathione-peroxidase and S-transferase enzymes, its part in phase-II detoxification, and the reported decline of cellular glutathione with age and metabolic stress.
