Thymosin Alpha-1

Thymosin α-1 is a 28-amino-acid peptide originally isolated from thymic tissue, studied for immune-modulating activity via T-cell maturation and innate-immune signalling. Supplied lyophilised for laboratory research use only.

Why does the vial look empty?
That’s normal. The peptide is supplied lyophilised (freeze-dried) — often a thin film or a few milligrams at the base of the vial, easy to mistake for empty. It’s all there; reconstitute with bacteriostatic water before use.
Research handling note
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water and store the lyophilised vial at −20 °C until use; once reconstituted, refrigerate and use within the documented window. For laboratory research purposes only — not for human consumption, diagnostic, or therapeutic use. Need to work out your dilution? Use the reconstitution calculator

Thymosin Alpha-1 — research profile

For research purposes only — not for human consumption

Thymosin α-1 (Tα1) is a 28-amino-acid peptide first isolated from thymosin fraction 5 of the thymus — the organ where T-cells mature. It is one of the most-studied immune-modulating peptides and is used clinically in some countries as an immune adjuvant.

Research reports that it acts on Toll-like-receptor signalling in dendritic cells and supports the maturation and differentiation of T-cells, modulating both innate and adaptive immune responses.

How it’s studied

  • T-cell maturation: differentiation of T-lymphocytes in immune models.
  • TLR signalling: activation of dendritic-cell innate-immune pathways.
  • Cytokine modulation: shifts in immune-signalling profiles.
  • Immune balance: studied in infection and immune-suppression models.

Verifiability

Batch Testing & COA

Every production batch is sent for independent, third-party analysis at Janoshik Analytical. When results return, the full Certificate of Analysis for the exact batch you receive is published here and in our COA library, carrying its SHA-256 checksum and the lot number printed on your vial, so you can confirm the document is genuine and untampered. We publish every certificate, including any that fail.
