General

Peptides are short chains of amino acids — typically 2 to 50 — joined by peptide bonds. They're widely used in pharmaceutical research, immunology, cell biology and drug discovery.

Ours are produced by solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS), the industry standard for research-grade material: amino acids are added one at a time on a resin support, then the finished chain is cleaved, purified by reverse-phase HPLC, and freeze-dried into a stable powder. This gives tight control over sequence, purity and consistency.

All products are for in-vitro research and laboratory use only — not for human or animal consumption.

Common research areas include cell biology and signalling (receptor–ligand interactions, signalling pathways), immunology (antibody and vaccine research), early-stage drug discovery, biochemistry and structural biology (binding assays, enzyme kinetics), and analytical chemistry (method validation, mass-spectrometry calibration).

We supply research-grade material suitable for in-vitro work of this kind. Please make sure your intended use complies with any rules that apply to you. Not approved for clinical, therapeutic, diagnostic or in-vivo use.

Our peptides are supplied as laboratory chemicals for in-vitro research use only. They are not medicines, and they have not been evaluated or approved by Ireland's Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) for therapeutic use.

Selling peptides as medicines, or making medical claims about them, is not something we do — every product is sold strictly for research purposes only. The legal status of specific compounds can vary, and a small number are restricted in Ireland; we don't list those.

International buyers are responsible for checking their own country's import rules before ordering — we can't advise on the law elsewhere.

Sizes and quantities vary by product and are shown on each product page. Vials are laboratory-grade borosilicate glass with crimped seals and rubber stoppers. If you need a quantity that isn't listed, just ask.

Stored correctly, freeze-dried peptides are stable for a long time. As a rough guide: refrigerated (2–8 °C), typically 24 months or more; frozen (−20 °C), often longer.

Once reconstituted, stability is shorter and varies by peptide — aliquot and store frozen, and avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. Keep vials sealed, cool, and away from light and moisture. Peptides containing methionine or cysteine can be more prone to oxidation and may have a shorter life.

  • Temperature — fridge (2–8 °C) for short-term, freezer (−20 °C) for longer storage.
  • Light — keep away from direct light.
  • Moisture — keep vials sealed until use; freeze-dried powder absorbs moisture from the air.
  • Condensation — let cold vials reach room temperature before opening.
  • After reconstitution — aliquot into single-use volumes and store frozen; avoid freeze–thaw cycles.

Handle as research chemicals, in line with your own lab's safety practices. Many products are temperature-sensitive, so refrigerate promptly on arrival.

Yes — bacteriostatic water and related lab essentials are listed under Supplies. Bacteriostatic water (sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol) is the most common solvent for reconstituting research peptides; the preservative allows multiple withdrawals from one vial. Product pages note the recommended solvent for each peptide.

Yes — alongside single peptides we stock a few pre-blended research products (for example our Glow Blend, and a Selank + Semax option). Each blend's contents are shown on its product page.

Some do. Mannitol is an inert bulking agent used during freeze-drying to stabilise the peptide and give a more visible, uniform "cake" in the vial. It doesn't affect purity or interfere with research assays. Where mannitol is present, the product page says so.

Small cosmetic differences between batches are normal — the freeze-dried cake can look compact or loose, fill levels can look low (a few milligrams of powder spread thin looks like very little), and cap colours can vary. Not every vial is vacuum-sealed; some are nitrogen-flushed instead. None of this affects quality as long as the vial has been stored correctly.

If you ever see a broken seal or visible contamination, send us a photo and we'll look into it.

No. Single-vial orders are welcome and handled the same as larger ones. Shipping is a flat €9.95, tracked — and free on orders of €150 or more.

We don't currently offer bespoke custom synthesis. If there's a peptide you'd like us to stock, let us know — we add products based on research demand, and we'll tell you if we can source what you need.

Quality & Testing

Our peptides are produced to a high-purity research-grade specification (typically a 98%+ target), purified by reverse-phase HPLC, and supplied lyophilised and lot-tracked so each batch is traceable — independent batch COAs publishing per lot. They're intended for in-vitro research and are handled and stored to preserve stability.

If you have a question about a specific lot, contact us at research@powerfullypeptides.com and we'll help.

Net peptide content (NPC) is the actual mass of active peptide in a vial, as distinct from the total mass — which also includes residual moisture, counter-ions (e.g. acetate or TFA salts from purification) and any excipients such as mannitol.

For example, a "5 mg" vial at 75% NPC contains roughly 3.75 mg of active peptide. NPC matters when you're calculating molar concentrations — use it rather than the labelled gross weight for precise work.

They're often confused. Purity is the proportion of the target peptide versus all peptide-related species, measured by HPLC — 98% purity means 98% correct sequence, about 2% related impurities. It's the main quality metric.

Yield is just the total mass obtained from a synthesis run — a manufacturing figure, not a quality indicator. We describe products by purity, not yield.

Even high-quality synthesis leaves trace impurities: deletion or truncated sequences (from incomplete coupling or early termination), oxidised forms (common with methionine or cysteine), deamidation products, racemisation, and residual solvents or reagents from cleavage and purification.

These are identified during HPLC analysis; the purity figure reflects target peptide versus total peptide-related material.

Our products are research-grade and are not produced or released as sterile, endotoxin-tested pharmaceutical material. They're intended for in-vitro laboratory research and should be handled accordingly. If your application has specific endotoxin requirements, please get in touch before ordering.

Ordering & Payment

Add what you need to your cart and tap Checkout — a normal secure checkout where you enter your email and shipping address and place the order. We then email your bank-transfer details and order reference; your order is dispatched as soon as payment clears (usually same or next day). Pay by Bank also saves you 3%.

Prefer to order in chat? Use the Order on WhatsApp or email your order links in the cart — same order, handled personally.

  • Pay by Bank (bank transfer) — our recommended method, and it saves you 3%. We email your transfer details and order reference right after checkout; instant SEPA transfers usually arrive in minutes.

All prices are in euro (€). Card payments (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay & Google Pay) are coming soon. Payment must clear before an order is dispatched.

Yes — new customers get 10% off their first order with code FIRST10, applied in your cart before you send the order. A small number of research compounds are excluded from promotional codes and discounts; they're always available at list price. We may run occasional promotions, which we'll show on the site. Be cautious of "PowerfullyPeptides" codes posted on third-party sites — if it isn't from us, it isn't genuine.

Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–2 working days of payment clearing, in the order they're received. Bank transfers can take a little time to confirm — once payment clears, your order enters the queue, and you'll get an email with tracking when it ships.

Allow a little time for the payment to clear (bank transfers can take up to a working day). Check your spam/junk folder for email from research@powerfullypeptides.com. If nothing arrives, email or call us with your details and we'll check it went through.

Yes, as long as it hasn't been dispatched. Email research@powerfullypeptides.com as soon as you can with your order number and the change. Once an order is with the courier we can't amend it.

All sales are generally final, but we'll always put right anything that's our fault. We refund or replace items that are defective, damaged in transit, or incorrectly supplied, and we reship or refund parcels confirmed lost in transit.

We don't refund change-of-mind after dispatch, or products that have been opened, reconstituted or used. Damage or incorrect-item claims need clear photos within 72 hours of delivery. Full details on our Shipping & Returns page.

Not at the moment — we use simple fixed pricing that's the same for everyone. If you have a larger research-volume requirement, email us and we'll see what we can do.

Shipping & Delivery

We ship from Ireland using tracked courier services. Every order is sent tracked, packed plainly and discreetly with no product details on the outside, and you'll get tracking by WhatsApp or email when it ships. Shipping is a flat €9.95 (free on orders of €150 or more), included in your order total.

Monday to Friday (excluding Irish bank holidays), within 1–2 working days of payment clearing. You'll receive a tracking email once it's handed to the courier. During busy periods dispatch can take a little longer — we'll let you know if so.

From dispatch, as a rough guide: Ireland — usually 1–3 working days; rest of the EU — a few working days; UK and rest of world — longer, and subject to customs.

These are estimates based on normal courier performance — weather, customs and carrier backlogs can add time once a parcel has left us. Track yours with the number in your dispatch email.

Discreetly and securely: vials are cushioned to prevent movement and breakage, in plain outer packaging with no product descriptions visible. Freeze-dried peptides are stable at room temperature for normal postal transit, so no cold-chain is needed. International parcels carry an accurate customs declaration as required.

If anything arrives damaged, broken or missing: photograph the packaging and contents before moving anything, then email research@powerfullypeptides.com within 72 hours with your order number, a short description and the photos. We'll review and respond, usually within a working day, with a replacement or refund. Photos are also needed for carrier insurance.

First check the tracking in your dispatch email — it may be in transit (international can be variable), waiting at a local depot or collection point, or left in a safe place or with a neighbour. If tracking hasn't moved or the expected date has passed, email us with your order number and we'll open an investigation with the carrier.

If you spot it before dispatch, email us straight away and we'll correct it. After dispatch we can try a redirection with the carrier, but it isn't guaranteed once the parcel is moving. If a parcel was correctly delivered to the address you entered, we can't refund or replace it — so please double-check your address before confirming.

That usually means the address was incomplete or undeliverable, the parcel went uncollected within the carrier's retention window, delivery was refused, or (internationally) customs rejected it. Once it's back with us we'll arrange a reshipment or refund. Reshipment may incur a second postage charge unless the error was ours.

Customs & International

No. We ship from Ireland, inside the EU, so orders to other EU countries move within the single market — there are no import customs charges or import VAT of the kind you'd see on a parcel arriving from outside the EU. The total we confirm with your order is what you pay.

Orders outside the EU (including the UK post-Brexit, the US, and the rest of the world) are treated as international imports. Any import duties, taxes or customs handling fees are the buyer's responsibility, and customs can add to transit time. We ship on a Delivered Duty Unpaid basis and can't estimate another country's charges. Please check your own import rules before ordering.

We ship to most of the world, but not to countries under comprehensive trade sanctions, or where importing research peptides is prohibited. Currently restricted destinations include (but aren't limited to) North Korea, Iran, Syria, Cuba, Russia and Belarus. Some countries also operate specific import controls that can lead to seizure. If you're unsure about yours, ask us before ordering.

If it isn't on the restricted list, we can most likely ship there — but being able to post a parcel doesn't guarantee customs will release it at your end. Local rules, how a specific peptide is classified, and customs discretion all vary. We're happy to share what we know for a given destination; get in touch before ordering.

We can provide a commercial invoice, product documentation and a letter confirming the goods are research chemicals to help with clearance. Email us with your order number and any correspondence from customs. Customs decisions are made by the destination country's authorities — documentation improves the odds but can't guarantee release. If they contact you directly, respond quickly.

No. We declare all international shipments accurately — correct description, true value and country of origin. Understating value or mislabelling contents is customs fraud and a criminal offence in Ireland and most other countries. We won't do it, and such requests will be declined.

If it's returned to us, we'll discuss reshipment (to a different address if needed) or a partial refund less postage. If customs destroy a seized parcel, we're unable to refund, as the loss isn't a fault in the product or service. Please check that importing research peptides is legal where you are before ordering — customs seizure isn't covered by our refund policy.

Returns & Missing Parcels

If tracking shows no movement beyond the expected delivery window, email us with your order number. We'll confirm it's overdue and open a lost-item investigation with the carrier. Once they confirm it's lost, we'll reship or refund, depending on stock and your preference. You don't need to contact the carrier yourself — we handle it.

Three reasons: the carrier requires a formal investigation before settling a claim (otherwise we can't recover the cost); a good share of "missing" parcels are found and delivered during the investigation, so sending a replacement too early causes duplicates; and the process helps confirm genuine losses. We know waiting is frustrating — the timeframes are set by the carrier, and we push to resolve quickly.

Please check safe places (porch, shed, behind bins), ask neighbours and anyone else at the address, and allow 24 hours in case the scan registered early. If it still hasn't appeared, email us with your order number and we'll raise a "delivered, not received" investigation with the carrier. Where the carrier confirms a misdelivery, we'll replace or refund.

Generally we wait until it's complete, since many parcels arrive during that window. We may consider early reshipment case-by-case — for example where tracking strongly suggests loss. If we reship early and the original then turns up, we'd ask you to return one parcel or pay for the second. We'll agree that with you first.

Please don't send anything back before contacting us. Email research@powerfullypeptides.com with your order number and the reason; if we approve a return, we'll send the address and instructions. Unauthorised returns may not be accepted. Opened, reconstituted or used products can't be returned; sealed, unused items may be accepted case-by-case.

Account & Support

No — you can order as a guest, no account required. If you'd like one, a free account saves your details for faster ordering, keeps your cart across devices and shows your order history — tap Register in the header.

Check your spam/junk folder for email from research@powerfullypeptides.com, and make sure there wasn't a typo in the address you gave with your order. If it still hasn't arrived, email or call us and we'll confirm the order and resend it.

Yes, if the order hasn't been dispatched — email us as soon as possible with your order number and the correct address. After dispatch a change usually isn't possible, though we can try a carrier redirection (not guaranteed). Please double-check your address before confirming.

The most likely reason is payment still clearing (bank transfers can take a working day) — your order is processed once it clears. Also check spam/junk for our emails. If more than two working days have passed since payment cleared with no word, email or call us with your order number and we'll check.

Email research@powerfullypeptides.com or call/message +353 83 308 6196. To help us reply quickly, include your order number, the email used to order, a short description, and photos if it's a damage or delivery issue.

We usually reply within a few hours on working days; evenings and weekends may wait until the next working day.

No questions match your search. Try a different word, or email us and we'll help.
