Reusable dial-dose pen — supplied empty
A reusable dial-dose pen. You load a cartridge yourself, dial the volume on the barrel and dispense it — which makes repeated draws of the same volume faster and more repeatable than measuring each one on a syringe barrel.
The pen is supplied empty. It is a piece of equipment, not a filled product: nothing is loaded, mixed or dispensed for you. You reconstitute your own vial and load the cartridge yourself.
Fit a pen needle, prime until a drop appears at the tip, dial the volume, then dispense. Change the needle every time and keep the pen capped between uses. Work the volume out on the reconstitution calculator before you load the cartridge.
Keep it clean and dry, store it capped at room temperature, and never store it with a needle attached — a fitted needle lets air into the cartridge. Pen needles are sharps waste and go into a sharps container.
Supplied as laboratory equipment and consumables. Not supplied for:
Neutral reference material and handling tools from across the site. Research use only.
Bacteriostatic water, insulin syringes and the insulin pen, dispatched in the same parcel as your order.

No. It is supplied empty and you load it yourself. We do not fill, mix or dispense anything into it.
Yes — the pen is reusable and the needles are not. Fit a fresh pen needle for every use and dispose of it as sharps waste.
They are identical apart from colour. The three finishes exist so more than one pen on a bench can be told apart at a glance.
