Orders are dispatched from Ireland on established tracked courier services, travelling on a European road network rather than an express air channel. Every order is sent tracked, and we send you the tracking details (by WhatsApp or email) as soon as it is on its way. Orders are packed plainly and discreetly, with no product details on the outside of the parcel.

Why an EU order has no customs step

This is worth understanding before you order from anyone in this category, because it is where most delay — and most of the risk of a parcel never arriving at all — actually comes from.

A parcel travelling from outside the EU into the EU is presented to customs on entry. It has to be declared, and it can be held, inspected, charged import VAT and duty, or refused outright. That step is unpredictable by design: it can add days or weeks, and it is the point at which parcels in this category are most often stopped.

A parcel travelling from Ireland to another EU country is an intra-EU movement. It is not presented to customs on entry, because there is no customs border between us and you. We are inside the EU, so your EU order is a domestic-style parcel on a road network — not an import.

What this does and does not mean. It means an EU order skips the customs step entirely, along with the delays and import charges that come with it. It does not mean a courier is never late or that nothing is ever lost — couriers mishandle parcels in every country. It means one whole category of delay does not apply to you. It also does not override national law: each EU country still applies its own rules to what may be imported into it, and goods can be inspected or stopped on that basis independently of any customs process. Research compounds are not treated uniformly across the EU, so please check the rules that apply where you are before ordering — that responsibility is yours, and we would rather say so here than after the fact. Orders travelling outside the EU are imports in the destination country, where customs handling, any duties or taxes, and compliance with local import rules are the customer's responsibility.

Why we do not publish a delivery-day promise

We could put a confident “delivered in 2–4 days” banner on this page. Plenty of sites in this category do. We are not going to, and we would rather state the reason than have you find it out.

We are a young business and we have not yet shipped enough parcels to know our own real delivery times into each country. A number we cannot stand over is just a number we would eventually break. The transit time also belongs to the courier rather than to us, so quoting it as our promise would mean quoting someone else's performance as our own.

What we will commit to is the part that is genuinely ours: we dispatch within 1–2 working days, every order gets a tracking number, and if a tracked parcel is confirmed lost we replace it first and run the carrier investigation ourselves. We will publish honest per-country delivery times on this page once we have shipped 100 tracked parcels — measured from dispatch to delivery, reported per country, including the routes that make us look slower than we would like. That is a threshold you can hold us to, rather than a promise with no date on it.

Storage on arrival

Refrigerate promptly. Many of our products are temperature-sensitive. Please store them as indicated on the product/label as soon as they arrive (lyophilised vials kept cool/frozen; reconstituted material refrigerated). Failure to store correctly on arrival may void replacement eligibility.

Returns & refunds

Lost in transit? We put it right. If your tracked parcel is confirmed lost on the way to you, our first move is a replacement — and we run the carrier investigation ourselves, so you don't have to.

Because of the research nature of our products, all sales are generally final and we cannot accept returns of used, opened, or correctly-supplied items. We will, however, put things right where something has gone wrong:

To claim, contact us as soon as possible (within 72 hours of delivery for damage/incorrect items) at research@powerfullypeptides.com with your order number, a short description, and clear photos of the package, label, and product where relevant. Please don't send anything back before contacting us and receiving instructions — unauthorised returns may be refused.

Non-returnable

Items that are opened, used, damaged by the customer, mis-stored on arrival, or otherwise not in their original condition are not returnable.

Cancellations & undeliverable parcels

Need to cancel? Contact us straight away — we can only cancel an order before it has been dispatched. Once it's with the courier it can't be cancelled. If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect/incomplete address or a refused/missed delivery, we'll need it back at our facility before any refund or replacement can be issued.
