Why does the vial look empty?
That’s normal. The peptide is supplied lyophilised (freeze-dried) — often a thin film or a few milligrams at the base of the vial, easy to mistake for empty. It’s all there; reconstitute with bacteriostatic water before use.

TB-500 is a synthetic peptide based on the biologically active region of thymosin β4 (Tβ4), one of the most abundant actin-binding proteins in mammalian cells. It is studied for its role in regulating actin, the cytoskeletal protein central to cell structure and movement.

By sequestering actin monomers, Tβ4 is reported to influence cell migration, angiogenesis and tissue remodelling — which is why the peptide is of research interest in wound-repair and connective-tissue models.
